This morning join our local guide for a walking tour of Historical Carrick-on-Shannon visiting places of interest such as St. Georges Heritage and Visitor Centre for a tour and insight into the heritage of Leitrim, the Attic Memorial at St. Patrick’s Hospital
We travel to Strokestown House for lunch and a visit to this house and gardens built in the 18th century. Having been restored to their former glory today it houses the Famine Museum which documents the circumstances of the Great Irish Famine of the 1840s..
This evening is free to enjoy some local entertainment
